Suwannee River, Florida

The Suwannee River is a major river of southern Georgia and northern Florida. It is a wild blackwater river, about 266 miles long. The Suwannee River is the site of the prehistoric Suwannee Straits which separated peninsular Florida from the panhandle.

Here a high bluff overlooks the spot where the Withlacoochee River joins the Suwannee River on its way to the Gulf of Mexico.

St George Island, Florida

Jane’s sister & bother in-law rented a beautiful house on St George Island for a mini family reunion. Everybody loved the house and the cooking!! The kids made a new friend and played at the beach for hours.

This is the beautiful Broadwing house, 4 floors of fun! It even has an elevator!
