Glacier National Park, St Mary Montana

This is the “Going to the Sun Road”. It’s the only road that runs thru Glacier. We took the Red Bus tour, you get to ride in a restored 1930’s White Motor Company tour bus. They have 4 couch seats and a canvas tops that rolls back.

If you click and enlarge this photo below you can see part of the "Going to the Sun Road"

The photo below is of “Wild Goose Island” in the lower St. Mary's Lake. It is probably one of the most photographed places here. Rumor has it that the mountain in the back is where Paramount got the idea for their logo.

Lake MacDonald

This is Jackson Glacier it is approximately the fifth largest (252 acres) of the remaining 24 glaciers in Glacier National Park. A part of the largest grouping of glaciers in the park, Jackson Glacier rests on the north side of Mount Jackson.
